What each number means — and how it's counted.
owner-trial requests
Inbound applications from salon owners or operators requesting the complimentary owner trial. Submitted via the website or WhatsApp in the reporting week. Not all requests proceed to a completed trial.
owner-trial completions
Owner trials that were attended and completed during the reporting week. Attended = the salon owner or designated senior operator attended the full facial session at Beauty Affairs MediSpa.
redeemed referrals
Clients who were invited by a partner salon, booked a session at Beauty Affairs MediSpa, and attended that session in the reporting week. All three conditions must be met. Invitation-only and booked-but-not-attended do not count.
network payout
Total A$ distributed across all active partner salons for redeemed referrals in the reporting week. Calculated as: redeemed referrals × A$35. Individual salon payouts are provided in partner-specific weekly reports, not published here.
spa satisfaction signal
Qualitative signal from Beauty Affairs MediSpa operations team: Green (no quality flags), Amber (minor issue under review), Red (significant issue requiring partner action). Published as network-level signal only — not per-partner.
trial-to-activation rate
Rolling 4-week percentage of owner-trial completions that proceed to partner activation — i.e. the salon activates client gifting after the trial and brand fit conversation. A rate above 60% indicates strong pre-qualification of trial applicants.
Owner-trial requests are up for the third consecutive week. The increase is coming primarily from hair salons in inner-east Sydney and a cluster of nail studios in the northern suburbs. Brand fit conversations are being prioritised in order of application date. Current wait time from request to trial booking: 4–6 days.
Positive signal38 redeemed referrals is above the 4-week rolling average of 33. The spike is attributable to two high-performing partner salons who refreshed their invitation client lists in the prior week following the January seasonal slowdown. Invitation quality score for both: high (owner-delivered, personally selected clients).
Above averageBoth Beauty Affairs MediSpa locations absorbed the volume without constraint. CBD capacity is approaching the seasonal peak fill rate for March. Brookvale has more available capacity and partners with clients on the Northern Beaches are encouraged to direct invitations toward that location this month.
Note: Northern Beaches preferred for MarchTwo no-shows recorded this week — both from the same partner salon, both from clients who were invited by a junior team member rather than the owner or a senior operator. This is the expected pattern: team-delivered invitations without personal conviction perform below owner-delivered invitations. The partner has been contacted with a refresher on invitation quality standards.
