This Privacy Policy is issued by Beauty Affairs Group Pty Ltd (ABN 58 642 194 394), registered in New South Wales, Australia, trading as GlowRef.

GlowRef operates glowref.com.au and associated digital properties, including referral vouchers, WhatsApp communications at +61 493 439 954, and booking or enquiry forms. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to all personal information collected by GlowRef in connection with: visitors to glowref.com.au; consumers and clients booking or enquiring about treatments; voucher holders; business partners in the referral programme; and anyone communicating with GlowRef via WhatsApp, email, or any other channel.

This policy does not cover the privacy practices of Beauty Affairs MediSpa or any other partner clinic. Once you attend a clinic, the clinic's own privacy policy applies.

Sharing information with partner clinics

When you use GlowRef to book a treatment, we share the following with the relevant partner clinic:

By using GlowRef's booking or enquiry service — including via WhatsApp — you consent to your contact and booking details being shared with the relevant partner clinic for the purpose of facilitating your appointment.

Once your information has been shared with the partner clinic, the clinic's own privacy policy governs how they handle it. GlowRef is not responsible for the partner clinic's privacy practices.

Overseas disclosure

Some technology service providers may process or store personal information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual data protection obligations.

glowref.com.au may use cookies and tracking technologies to improve functionality, analyse traffic, and support marketing attribution. Data collected includes pages visited, referral source, UTM campaign parameters, browser type, device type, and IP address metadata. Marketing and opt-out

GlowRef may send marketing communications about our services where you have provided contact details in connection with a booking or enquiry, or have otherwise consented. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any WhatsApp message, clicking the unsubscribe link in any GlowRef email, or contacting us at partners@glowref.com.au. Opting out does not affect booking confirmations or appointment communications.

Access and correction

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access the personal information GlowRef holds about you and to request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete.

To make a request, contact us at partners@glowref.com.au or via our Complaints and Privacy Requests page. We will respond within 30 days. We do not charge for access requests, though a reasonable fee may apply for complex requests.

Step 1 — Contact GlowRef: Submit your complaint via our Complaints and Privacy Requests page or email partners@glowref.com.au. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and respond within 30 days.

Step 2 — OAIC: If unsatisfied with our response, or if we have not responded within 30 days, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
